Filipe Correia dos Santos is a Lisbon based self-taught filmmaker. After finishing a degree in Architecture, he started to experiment with a video camera and felt immediately connected to the process. Since then, he has been developing his own language in an intuitive way, while working in as many different areas as possible. His portfolio is both domestic and international and he applies his documental and narrative approach to his work, mostly made of music videos and commercials, having worked for brands like PlayStation, Levi’s, Netflix, Wargaming, McDonald’s or artists such as Mariza, Pedro Abrunhosa or Carolina Deslandes. He believes filmmaking is an emotional art form, with smart and fine tuned intelectual details, thus creating a layered narrative, allowing you to connect immediately to his films but having so much more to explore on a deeper level.
